About the artist…
Rubii Red is a proud Lama Lama woman born in Cairns, QLD and raised in foster-care in Melbourne. She's a portrait and abstract artist, as well as an aspiring film-maker and photographer.
She's always had a passion for the arts. Rubii Red's main objective in life is to give back to her community as much as possible and help to build a better future for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
She's an activist for human rights and climate change, and is big on ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children are placed in safe environments so that they will grow up to be leaders for their community as well.
